From the coastal reaches of New England, Rhode Island-based Ancient Torment has emerged as a leading torchbearer in the region’s black metal underground. “Force Me Upon Death” is the band’s latest offering of tribulation and abysmal ruin, featuring a new lineup around founding core members Tormentum & Zealot that includes the addition of Stygal (Black Sorcery) on vocals, Apparition (Cruciamentum) on second guitar and Czarnobóg (ex-Black Sorcery) on bass.
