Having chosen to heavily rely on one of classic SweDeath most recognizable weapon, Italian warmongers NECROGORE aren’t shying away from their influences, the chainsaw sound being described as “the sound of the records we grew up with, and one that primarily defines the Swedish death metal scene. The HM-2 has always been the beating heart of our previous bands, but we never intended to label our genre as Swedish death metal, precisely because we are not Swedish. Moreover, to be completely honest, we don’t even use that specific pedal. Instead, the distortion comes from a unit built by a friend of ours who works in the effects world.
