So this is where it all began… Sure all three tracks off DISMA’s debut demo were later re-recorded for their massive debut album, Towards The Megalith, but somehow those early and rawer versions have a distinctive vibe of their own. The genre of death-metal, back then in 2009, was in dismay is a euphemism and somehow, this “us against the rest of the world” mentality gave that initial recording an extra edge. Of course, The Vault Of Membros has been reissued a few times before – including a now very highly collectable version by the esteemed and now defunct, Detest Records.
