Presented in chronological order, ‘World War V’ is a compilation of the demos and four EPs that Canadian act Kiloton amassed over the last year or so. 37 songs, a perfect overview of the evolution of the band. Or in this case, an ugly statement of sonic torture without compromise. ‘World War V’ is a volatile mixture of utter violence with zero room for subtlety. The blend of Noise and bestial Black/ Death Metal is crude, suffocating and overwhelming, and obviously not for the casual listener. Filthy degenerates, line up for some sonic barbarity.
