It’s been three long years since SACRILEGIA’s celebrated debut album, The Triclavian Advent, but the Irish black/death militia are back with a quick-hitting EP titled Sold Under Sin. Totaling 21 minutes, Sold Under Sin presents four new outbursts of black/thrash METAL delivered with the belligerent intent of the genre’s pioneers. Compared to that storming debut full-length, SACRILEGIA’s songs here are slightly lengthier and more elaborate, but also bolder than ever before: the abyss still looks the same, but its yawning expanses portend protracted doom rather than immediate inferno.
