Hailing from Göttingen, Germany, IMMORTALIS’ dark roots go back to 1989. When 15-year-old bandleader, guitarist, and vocalist Sebastian Bielecki founded the band under the name BLASPHEMY. His musical goal was clear from day one: brutal DEATH METAL with spinetingling special effects. IMMORTALIS’ first and only full-length album was originally released in 1991. This intricate and conceptual piece perfectly combines musicality and atmospherics and is an excellent example of Sebastian and his followers’ musical talents.
